Compassion for Baby Steps

I asked my daughter to pick up her two packets of wipes and put them back in the store room. She tried to hold one packet in each hand, but they kept slipping. It took her some time and a lot of deliberate thought to come up with a solution. She put one packet on top of the other and then picked them up with both hands. I felt a lot of compassion towards her for trying to do her best in fulfilling my instructions.

I could only imagine the amount of compassion Allah SWT would be Looking at us with when we struggle to carry out His Commands. We fall and trip in the process, and sometimes feel burdened and exhausted. But as long as we keep trying and keep moving, we would find Him the most Appreciative and the most Rewarding for our imperfect baby steps.
