Pre-Ramadan Thoughts of a Mum
Dear heart,
Allah SWT Knows that you’re tired. You are exhausted, overwhelmed and excited for Ramadan at the same time. You are desperate to receive Allah’s Mercy and Forgiveness, but you’re also worried about your workload. You don’t want to push yourself towards a burnout but also fear being deprived. Allah SWT Knows that your full-time parenting does not stop in Ramadan. You have no option to take a day off or a moment off. He still Handpicked you for this beautiful month and wants to Shower His infinite Love and Rahmah on you. So dear heart, all you need to do is to cry out to Him (even if your eyes or hands don’t get any uninterrupted time to do so). Make the niyyah to want His Forgiveness, make the niyyah to fast this Ramadan, and take one day at a time, believing that He would Bring you out of it with the gift of taqwa.
Keep calm and parent on!
