Exhausted

I am exhausted today.

When my toddler threw a tantrum for the twentieth time today, I was exhausted. When I was trying that she does not waste that last slice of bread, I was exhausted. When I had to talk non stop and distracted her a hundred times in order to finish my mug of tea, I was exhausted. When I had to be attentive to her every second even at the toddler gym, I was exhausted. When I had to force her into her car seat again while she screamed, I was exhausted. When I had to read to her the same book for the fiftieth time today, I was exhausted. When I had to pick up pieces of dropped food, I was exhausted. When she finally went out with her dad and came back more than an hour later, I was still exhausted. Now I have put her to bed and I am seeing my lounge, I am still exhausted.

I think I am just exhausted today. Or may be everyday.
